Closing of collective centres under “CEB2” project: start of construction in the Federation of BiH

Marijana and Milan Djekovic, Grabovac, Serbia

Marijana Djekovic was born in a small village near Vukovar, Croatia, from where she fled together with her mother and two sisters in 1991. They came to Zemun, Serbia, to their aunt’s, where they settled temporarily, but were continuously returning to Croatia to visit their father who had had to stay there. Finally, in 1997, all Serbs abandoned the village and moved to Serbia.

Serbian RHP PIU signs today contracts for the construction of 261 apartments in 13 municipalities

The Acting Director of the “Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade” Ms Vesna Vandić signed today the works contracts for the construction of 16 multi-apartment buildings that will provide 261 apartments to RHP beneficiaries by mid-2018. The total value of the contracts amounts to close to EUR 6 million.

The apartments will be constructed in the following municipalities: Arilje, Bor, Vrnjačka Banja, Uzice, Loznica, Brus, Kladovo, Negotin, Odžaci, Sombor, Stara Pazova, Temerin and Zrenjanin.

2016 Annual Report of the RHP Fund published

3 000 persons have accessed dignified housing conditions thanks to RHP

In 2016, the RHP delivered a record number of homes to vulnerable families. By year end, 1 000 vulnerable families, or close to 3 000 persons, in the four Partner Countries had been provided with suitable housing solutions.
